My client is looking for someone with an analytical, logical and enquiring mind, with an aptitude for problem solving. They will also need a basic understanding and aptitude for technology and the ability to grasp and retain technical and business information quickly and precisely. You will also need the ability to put your case across logically and precisely both verbally and in writing. The role of a Business Systems Analyst is a hybrid role requiring both business and technological skills. The role is very varied, with no two projects alike, but generally it will involve: • Analysing the feasibility of project requests from a business, technological & cost perspective; • Interpreting, analysing & documenting user requirements • Working closely with information technology staff and occasionally external companies, to put together systems solutions to meet these requirements; • Advising & assisting in the testing and training of systems to ensure that the systems function correctly and that staff are familiar with their usage; • Planning, co-ordinating and supporting the live implementation of systems; • And above all common sense, diplomacy and determination! This is a cracking opportunity for a very well known client that will offer fresh challenge and future career prospects.
